Welcome to our Virtual Choir of Joy!
Rising into the challenge of these times, the energy of JOY is a powerful antidote to the sadness and loss of these past few months, bringing healing harmony and lifting our spirits and voices together to help each other through difficult times.
We would like to invite you to join us singing the song “Joy” in a chorus of support for all who are suffering in these difficult times.
Our goal is to share and spread a positive harmony of caring energy. PLEASE JOIN US!
Submissions for The Virtual Choir of Joy closed on July 13, 2020.
October Project’s song “Joy” is a musical round from The Book of Rounds, a 21 Song Cycle of beautiful songs by Julie Flanders & Emil Adler, each a fugue of positive messages.
October Project Productions (Marina Belica, Emil Adler and Julie Flanders) is producing the experience, Ryan Heller, choir director of Chorus Austin, is conducting, and Grammy Award winner Ed Boyer (Pitch Perfect, Glee) will be mixing the audio. Emmy-Award winning video editor Ulrich Vilbois (specialist in 360 Virtual Reality) will be at the visual helm.
All participants can find the materials they need to participate HERE.
